We don't ask you to take our word for it. Each certification below links to its issuing body's public directory, so you can confirm it yourself before you commit to an order.

Class I is the strictest of the four Oeko-Tex product classes, reserved for textiles intended for babies and small children up to three years old. It requires the lowest permissible limits for harmful substances of any class — including formaldehyde, heavy metals, pesticides and allergenic dyes — independently tested batch by batch. It's the certification European baby-textile buyers ask for first, and the one we test hardest to.

GOTS certifies the entire textile supply chain, not just the raw fibre — from certified organic cotton through spinning, weaving, dyeing and making-up, with environmental criteria (no harmful bleaches, restricted chemical inputs, wastewater treatment) and social criteria (fair labour practices) audited at every stage. A GOTS label is a chain-of-custody guarantee, not just a claim about the cotton in the field.

SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is one of the most widely used ethical audit formats globally. The 4-Pillar version covers labour standards, health & safety, environment, and business ethics — assessed by an independent third-party auditor against the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code. It's the audit most European retail compliance teams request as standard.

ISO 9001 certifies that our quality management system — how we plan, control and continuously improve manufacturing — meets the international standard, independently audited by TÜV SÜD. In practice, it's what keeps specifications, tolerances and defect rates consistent across large production runs, not just on the sample.

ZED (Zero Defect, Zero Effect) is a certification scheme run by India's Ministry of MSME and the Quality Council of India, rating manufacturers on quality practices and environmental impact across Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers. A Gold rating reflects independently assessed performance on defect reduction, energy efficiency, waste management and resource use — a India-specific credential, but one that speaks to the same operational discipline European buyers look for elsewhere.
